Simply Roots offers supermarkets, food service operators and distributors a line of premium quality Italian zucchini and yellow squash.

The long sunny days, cool nights and rich soil at our local ranches are ideal for growing dark green Italian zucchini and bright yellow squash at optimal sizes.

Once harvested, Simply Roots Italian zucchini and yellow squash professionally packed in recyclable Kraft cartons and RPC’s.

Summer squash is high in vitamin C, fat-free, sodium-free, cholesterol-free and low in calories. Simply Roots squash are extremely versatile – they can be served as grilled, fried, baked side dish or used in soups.

Squash are sensitive to extreme temperature ranges and should be stored at 36 to 40 degrees.
